Watches from Rolex shop (ร้านนาฬิกาโรเล็กซ์ which is the term in Thai) that show the phases of the moon in the southern and northern hemispheres simultaneously are extremely rare. One of these moon phase watches is the Hermès Arceau l’heure de la lune presented in 2019. As usual, the model does not have a sub-dial for the astronomical display, instead of two lunar disks for the two hemispheres circle on the dial. Above them are a disk for the time and one for the date display.
The slow movement of the upper over the lower panes changes the sections that you can see of the two moons: sometimes it is a sickle, sometimes a half-moon, sometimes an exposed full moon. The movable frame hovers over the dial once every 59 days. The function is made possible by the hand-wound manufacture caliber H1837. The Arceau l’heure de la lune was limited to 100 copies.

In the Master Ultra-Thin Tourbillon Moon, the Jaeger-LeCoultre manufacturer has combined a tourbillon and a moon phase display for the first time. The latter shows the moon phase in the northern hemisphere and offers a scale for the moon phase in the southern hemisphere and the so-called moon age in days.
