Outdoor LED screens make your outdoor bar or event more festive and fun. When you are hosting an outdoor event, the last thing you want is for it to be boring. By adding the right outdoor led screen you can take your party up a notch. These outdoor led displays are perfect for parties, picnics, BBQs, concerts, and much more! From choosing the right size to running the projector to watching movies on any surface outdoors. Let’s get started with this guide on how to set up and use your outdoor LCD tv.
What You’ll Need
You’ll need to buy a projector and outdoor led screen to begin. You’ll also need to have some extra cables, HDMI, VGA, USB, and power cords.
How to Set Up Your Outdoor LED Screen
Before you start setting up your outdoor led screen, you want to make sure you have a couple of things with you. First, your projector. You will need a projector that can project onto the surface of the outdoor led screen that is in front of it. The other thing you will need is an HDMI cable that connects your laptop or computer to the projector.
Once your projector and HDMI cable are in hand, let’s set up the outdoor led screen!
First, find a flat-level surface that is about 3-4 feet big. It should be something like a picnic table or a rock so it can support the weight of your outdoor led screen without bending or breaking whenever it gets bumped into.
Next, place the outdoor led screen on top of this flat surface so that it lines up perfectly with whatever size area you want it on. You will want to line up one side of the outdoor led screen with something vertical–like a tree–so that when people walk by they can easily see what movie or event has been projected and not miss out on any activities happening at your event!
Once everything is lined up correctly, plug in your laptop or computer via an HDMI cord and turn on your projector so that it displays what’s on the outside of your outdoor led display.
How to Connect Your Device To Your Outdoor LED Screen
There are two ways to connect your device to your outdoor LED screen. You can use an HDMI cable or you can use an RCA cable. If you choose the HDMI cable, the picture will be clearer and crisper.
If you are using an outdoor LED screen with a projector, then you will need to plug in a power source as well. This will ensure that the image stays clear on the screen while keeping your home safe from any hazards of electrical shock or fire.
The next step is important because it will determine whether or not your image will appear crisp and clear on your screen: running through a computer test pattern. Make sure this process goes smoothly by following these instructions below:
-Power up your TV/Projector
-Run through a test pattern with 720×480 resolution
-If there is any issue with this test pattern, try running through another one with different resolutions such as 1024×768 or 1280×720
After completing these steps, we are ready for our first movie!
